Creation's Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas
Dates: August 6-10, 2008
StarFire Members: Klingon uniform REQUIRED!

Many of us will be staying at the Sahara. Rates at $90 per night (Friday and Saturday), $40 per night (Sunday)

Saturday August 9 is planned as Klingon Day. This is the day to wear your Klingon uniform. There isn't much of line to enter this con especially since opening day is Wednesday Aug 6. We shall meet where the tickets are sold, an area between the Dealer's Room and the Main Auditorium, at around 10:15am. Many people do hang out there so this is a great area to play with the Humans and  for photo opportunities. Ship photos will be taken at this period once all members of a given ship are present. Be advised that some people will be entering the Costume Contest which is usually held at 6pm. Many of us will be changing costumes for the Costume Contest.

Saturday August 9 after the con dinner. IF, and I say IF the Star Trek Experience is not going to be rented out by Creation on Saturday night then we shall all gather at Quark's Bar for dinner around 6pm.
If Creation rents the entire Experience from 6pm on, they didn't do this last year but had before then, then it will be impossible to have dinner there so we will plan for a late lunch at or around 3pm scheduling permitting.
Either way we will hit the rides right before or right after we eat. We will play this one by ear.

Sunday August 10 is planned as ISS Hornet Day. This is the day to wear your Mirror Mirror uniform. Schedule permitting, we will take the ship's photo at or around 1pm and this will be done in the main ticket area. This time may change once the final schedule is posted.

Parking:  Is always FREE at the Hilton unless you use Valet parking.
