Held at the San Diego Convention Center. This convention hosted some 104,000 people last year. This is a HUGE con. The other great thing about this con is the high number of people that attend in costume. |

Friday July 25 is the Klingon day for everyone. During the day there will be plenty of time to see everything. Each year on Friday, the IKV Stranglehold will be onstage at 7pm performing the Adventures of the IKV Stranglehold. It would show great support if you attended the Strangleholds performance, especially in Klingon uniform. We will join the IKV Stranglehold for photos ops when the situation arises. |

Saturday night, July 26, is the Masquerade for which some of us may be entering. They cap the number of entries into the contest at 50 so you MUST register early. If you want to watch the Masquerade then you must get tickets for it (which is free with admission) but they are limited to only 4,500 as that is all the seats they have. The Masquerade is televised on closed-circuit TV throughout the con. There are NO plans to attend as a group this day, Rather some of us will be touring San Diego ships in the area (real ships). |

Sunday July 27 is your choice of Klingon, Mirror Mirror. or PotA day. Basically this is the day to see things we didn;t have tiem for on Friday. |

Nearby hotels are not cheap, $150/night +, and they are filling fast. There is an alternative for those that want to join me, KataH. There are hotels that are much cheaper some 6 to 12 miles away and parking free there. There is a trolley system that runs near those hotels and right up to the Convention center. It runs every 15 minutes Mon-Fri and every 30 minutes on the weekend. The fare is real cheap. Anyone that wants to join me and share a room please let me know ASAP! (As soon as possible). A hotel has not been selected yet but it will NOT be in town (because of the price) |

Parking at or near the Convention center can be a problem and lots fill fast as they only have 1,900 spaces. However we have found that if you get there by 9am there is still plenty of room to park in the parking garage next to the convention center. |
